Detailing journeys on the Camino de Santiago and the Via Francigena. This blog is about learning how to walk far enough to find one's self while still laughing.
Via Francigena
The Via Francigena is a pilgrimage from Canterbury England all the way across Europe to the home of Saint Peter in Rome. Much like the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrim can start at any point along the way. Many pilgrims walk from Saint James in Santiago Spain to Saint Peter and vice-versa. I started my adventure in Nice and walked/crawled along on the coastal route through Liguria, Toscana and into Lazio before collapsing at the feet of Saint Peter..
